Presentation of the Audi A3 8P facelift

This is the restyled version of the Audi A3 8P.
This second generation was produced from 2008 to 2012.
It is also considered phase 3 of the Audi A3 8P.
Many modifications have marked this restyling: the appearance of led headlights, or led taillights for the Sportback model.
This model succeeds the Audi A3 8P 2003-2008. 

The different Audi A3 8P models

The 3 phases of the Audi A3 8P are therefore: 

• Phase 1 2003 to 2005 : it exists only in 3 doors and the grille in double frame (two parts).
• Phase 2 2004 to 2008 for the 5-door version Sportback and from 2005 to 2008 for the 3-door version: this version is equipped with the large grille called "single frame". 
• Phase 3 2008 to 2012 : these are the pieces of this category. It is also called Audi A3 "Facelift".

The different engines offered

On this Audi A3 8P, the best-selling models are the Audi A3 1.9 TDI 105 hp and the 2.0 TDI 140 hp. 
However, before buying your used Audi A3, some models are to be avoided, including the Audi A3 2003-2005 1.9tdi 105 hp which is widely known for these many defects (see the Audi A3 forums).

The other engines are: 

• In essence: 1.2 TFSI 105 hp, 1.4 TFSI 125 hp, 1.6 102 hp, 1.6 FSI 115 hp, 1.8 TFSI 160 hp, 2.0 FSI 150 hp, 2.0 TFSI 200 hp, 2.0 TFSI 265 hp, 3.2 V6 250 hp
• Diesel: 1.6 TDI 90 hp, 1.6 TDI 105 hp, 2.0 TDI 136 hp, 2.0 TDI 163 hp, 2.0 TDI 170 hp

This Audi A3 will then be replaced by the Audi A3 8V, which will be produced between 2012 and 2020.
